What is an AAR?

An After Action Review (or AAR) is a tool used in the military to quickly and effectively gather feedback about an event. This feedback typically focuses on three questions:

• What went well?
• What could be improved?
• What else?

How Does This Work?

Using ThisAAR, users can distribute AAR requests electronically and others can submit their responses anonymously. Agreement and Disagreement sentiments can be gathered and the data can be stored and analyzed. This reduces the "lost knowledge" of manual AARs that are never looked at after the review is conducted.
